We Texans have done it again! Congratulations on being named the Best State in America for business, and get this, for a record-breaking 20 years in a row. In 2022 and 2023 Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced and celebrated that Texas was the best state in America when it comes to job growth, small business growth, and for being the Best State for Business.

Governor Abbott recently said "Texas truly is the best state for business and it stands as a model for the rest of the nation. I believe that freedom is a magnet and Texas offers entrepreneurs and hard-working Texans the freedom to succeed at work and in business. When choosing where to relocate or expand your business more innovative industry leaders choose Texas."

If you want to start a small business pick a city inside the Lone Star State and open the doors. For the last 20 years, Texas has outdone all the other states in small business growth in America. Trailing behind Texas are Florida, Tennessee, Arizona, and North Carolina to round out the top five.
