The Texas Rangers used what they've done all season long to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks in 5 games using their powerful bats and stellar bullpen.

As a Rangers fan, it's been an agonizing wait. I grew up watching legendary Rangers players like Nolan Ryan, 'Pudge' Rodriquez, Rusty Greer, Rafael Palmeiro, Ruben Sierra, and others try to get us a title. Year after year, it ended in disappointment.

In 1996 the Rangers won the AL West title and then had a few division wins in 1998 and 1999 but never made it past the division series. In 2010, they finally reached the ALCS and World Series for the first time but lost to the San Francisco Giants in five games.

Then in 2011, the Rangers made it back to the World Series only to get their heart broken in seven games at the hand of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Those back-to-back World Series losses have stuck with Rangers fans for over a decade. But, in October of 2022, Bruce Bochy was hired and as it turns out, was the final piece to the puzzle that has frustrated players and fans alike for 63 years.

Yes, the wait is finally over, and we can now say the Texas Rangers are World Series champions. It's definitely time to celebrate!
