Yes It’s True, Uncle Lucius Is Performing Live in Abilene
This is certainly one show everyone must put on their bucket list. The reunited group of Uncle Lucius is scheduled to perform at Heff's at the Mall of Abilene on Thursday, August 31. While Uncle Lucius has had a huge following since its inception in 2002, its fans have been faithful to both founder Kevin Galloway and the group Uncle Lucius.
On a Friday night in March 2018, Kevin Galloway played his final concert with the band at Gruene Hall and bid farewell to his fans. After resting and regathering his thoughts, he began performing as a solo artist throughout the United States and the United Kingdom.
Uncle Lucius is comprised of Kevin Galloway from east Texas on guitar, Mike Carpenter from Houston on lead guitar, Josh Greco of San Antonio on drums, Jonny Grossman from Kentucky on keyboard, and Johann Valles on bass guitar. They reunited at, you guessed it, Gruene Hall.
If you have never seen Uncle Lucius live, here is your chance to check this one off as they will be playing live here in Abilene. Expect all your Uncle Lucius favorites plus music from Kevin Galloway's two albums he ran up the charts during his solo five-year run.
Tickets are available for $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Purchase in advance at Stubwire.com or at Heff's in the Mall of Abilene. The doors are opening at 6 pm and the show will begin promptly at 8 pm. This is an 18-and-up-only show. I hope to see you there. Get ready to win tickets through the station app.
