(KNUE-FM) We all know that crime happens everywhere, although we appreciate it not happening here in Texas. The fact is that you hear about crimes all the time from news sources or seeing their mugshots posted online after being arrested.

Even knowing that crime is all around us I will admit I feel safe here in the Lone Star State, but I decided to ask ChatGPT to see what common crimes were committed in Texas and it was interesting to see what laws seem to be broken all the time.

While I do understand that crime happens everywhere, I was thinking the common crimes that happen were all going to be petty things such as speeding and other traffic violations, but the crimes were much more severe than I thought.

Some of the common crimes that made the list which you can see below, are even violent. It’s just shocking to me because I don’t see much crime, and I try to avoid situations like that, so I don’t think about crime all that often.
