Are We Paying More For Girl Scout Cookies In Texas This Year?

It's one of the most exciting times of the year in Texas. That time when tables begin getting setup in front of your favorite stores, and these little boxes of goodness get dropped out for you. It's something you can't resist...and they know it.

Most of the time, we don't even realize it's that time of year, but the second we see it, we start making trips to the store specifically for those little round discs of goodness. Yes, I'm talking about when those Girl Scout cookies go on sale.

I remember my mom just buying boxes and boxes of them when I was a kid. I want to say they were only around $2-3 back then, and $20 made you feel like you were almost robbing the table. Thin Mints were always her favorite. She'd get them home and immediately throw them in the freezer. No, it wasn't to keep them fresh, they seemed to taste better that way.
