It seems to be the dream of so many people during the holidays. Finding that perfect little town that screams winter and feels like it's straight out of a movie. Is that possible to find in Texas without a ton of snow in the region?

Surprisingly, the answer is yes. Just because the snow may not fall in bunches doesn't mean it can't have that cozy wintery feel that just allows you to stand outside on a patio with a cup of hot cocoa and a blanket wrapped around you as you wake up.

So where can one find such a perfect little winter spot? You'll have to head to the Hill Country to find the best town.

WHERE IS THE COZIEST WINTER TOWN IN TEXAS?

New York Travel Guides recently ranked all the cozy winter towns in America, and Marble Falls, TX. landed on the list at #40 in the U.S., but that would rank it as the number one town in Texas if that cozy winter is what you seek.

HOW WAS IT DETERMINED TO BE THE BEST?

The categories in which they used to land on this were popularity during the winter season with the general public and photographers, cozy weather, and of course, cozy activities.

WHAT GAVE MARBLE FALLS THE EDGE?

The city offers a bevy of different things to do during the winter season, as there are more than 100 holiday-themed events that take place in Marble Falls. If you can't get the snow, I suppose the next best thing is to make it feel like a winter wonderland, without losing the charm.

One other Texas city made the top 100, and ironically it was in and around the same region of Texas. Fredericksburg checked in at #96 on the list.

The Charm of Main Street and Downtown Borger, Texas

This once-lawless Wild West boomtown is now a quiet town of 13,000 nestled in the Texas Panhandle. Located 40 miles north of Amarillo and 13 miles from Lake Meredith, the city of Borger is your typical small town. Friendly faces and warm greetings will surround you as you stroll down Borger's Main Street--a trip we highly recommend you take at least once in your life time.
