Amarillo, Texas Gets a Behind the Scenes Look with Landman Co-Creator at WTAMU Event
Amarillo, Texas, has seen several celebrities in town due to Taylor Sheridan's many creations, including the Yellowstone, 1883, and 1923 series filmed in the area. It was only a matter of time before we started seeing people from the Landman series.
One of the Co-Creators of Landman is Speaking in Canyon, Texas
Christian Wallace will be making an appearance at West Texas A&M University. Wallace is a writer, most notably for Texas Monthly. Wallace also wrote and hosted the podcast Boomtown about the West Texas oil boom in the Permian Basin.
After hearing the podcast, Taylor Sheridan optioned it for the screen. Along with Wallace, they created Landman, based on the Boomtown podcast.
Landman premiered on November 17, 2024, on Paramount+ with two episodes. The show stars Billy Bob Thorton, John Hamm, Demi Moore, Ali Larter, and other familiar faces who have appeared in other Taylor Sheridan shows.
