Former Suits actor Patrick J. Adams has been confirmed to star in the upcoming sequel to Yellowstone. According to a press release, Adams will star alongside Michelle Pfeiffer in The Madison.

Adams is best-known for his role as Mike Ross in Suits, which earned him a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination.

Elle Chapman (A Man Called Otto), Beau Garrett (Firefly Lane) and Amiah Miller (War for the Planet of the Apes) are also set to appear in The Madison, which Paramount describes as a "heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana."

Michelle Pfeiffer will star in and also executive produce The Madison for Paramount Network, which the network confirmed on Aug. 8.

TV Line first reported in July that that Pfeiffer, Adams, Garrett and Kurt Russell were in negotiations for the show, which was originally titled 2024. The Madison is reportedly set to begin filming in late August in Montana, New York and Texas. Russell's participation remains unconfirmed.

According to TV Line, The Madison will follow a wealthy matriarch and her family "as they leave New York City and head to Montana in the wake of her husband and brother-in-law’s tragic deaths in a plane crash."

Here are the other roles confirmed for the show, according to Paramount:

  • Adams will play Russell McIntosh, "a young investment banker who has followed the life path set before him from the start."
  • Chapman will portray Paige McIntosh, "a somewhat self-centered woman who indulges in a luxurious New York lifestyle provided by her parents and investment banker husband."
  • Garrett is set for the role of Abigail Reese, "a resilient and sardonic New Yorker, who is a recently divorced mother of two."
  • Miller will portray Bridgette, Abigail’s older daughter.

Yellowstone stars Cole Hauser, Kelly Reilly and Luke Grimes were initially rumored to reprise their roles in the sequel, but recent updates have made no mention of that. Matthew McConaughey was long rumored to star in the new show, but there's no reporting to suggest that he's still attached to the project.

Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2 is set to premiere on Paramount Network on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 8PM ET. The new episodes will wrap the smash hit series.

Paramount has not set a premiere date for The Madison.
