A family in Belton, Texas is still seeking any information in the disappearance of Rogelio Arias, their abuelo. Here's what is known at the time of writing.

Rogelio Arias' Last Known Sighting And Details

According to KXXV, Police report that Arias was last spotting walking on the morning of March 9th, 2024. Law enforcement states that he was around Central Avenue in Belton, moving under I-35. The reported time of the observation of Arias was 10:50 AM.

Since his last sighting, a silver alert was put out to help Texas residents identify if they have seen him. KXXV states, when speaking to the family, it was revealed Arias has dementia, and is only fluent in the Spanish Language.

The family is also incredibly worried after their abuelo hasn't been found after a week.

Worries From Rogelio Arias' Family

Alex Arias, the grandson of Rogelio, spoke about the moving of him to the US, after individuals in Mexico were mistreating him:

“In Mexico, his condition had gotten worse. It got to the point where people knew he had dementia. Unfortunately, people would take advantage of him and take his money."

Paul Romer, City of Belton PIO, also spoke the efforts the department is undertaking to locate Rogelio:

“We had drones and helicopters in the air searching. That was part of of the grid expansion. Tuesday, off in the same area he went missing, we had officers walk three miles on foot."

Rogelio is described as this by KXXV:

- 5'5"
- Brown eyes
- Brown hair,
- Weighing around 150 pounds

At the time of disappearance he was wearing:

- Grey hat with a "CJ" on it
- Black cross necklace
- Black jacket
- Blue jeans with rolled up bottoms
- Blue shoes
