Easter is always one of the most challenging dinners to play each year because it is difficult to decide if you want to go big on breakfast and brunch items, or you want to have a hot plate meal because no matter what you select, it is all taking a back seat to sweet treats.

Texas's H-E-B Now Closing 339 Stores On The Same Day

I really enjoy shopping at H-E-B for many of my cooking ingredients because the store's quality is usually way mor important to the company than a massive selection. Another thing I appreciate is a well run, privately held business, that takes care of their co-owning employees.

This upcoming Easter Sunday, April 20th, when people will be celebrating a few coinciding holidays, do not plan on making a quick run to your local H-E-B because all 339 locations will be closed. We always think of businesses closing for holidays as being so nice for the employees to spend time with their families, but honestly, most are just happy to have a day off.

I worked a ton of retail growing up, and it was very common to work 20, 30 days, or more in a row. Not only will H-E-B be closed on Easter, but so will Target and Sam's Club.
