
Texas Retailer Now Closing 157 Stores On The Same Day
The Texas economic landscape continues to evolve, and fortunately for our local fortunes, business remains more healthy and profitable in the Lone Star State compared to a many of the other states. Additional good news shows that as the mass migration of new residents continues, Texas is doing a great job keeping pace in the jobs created race.

Sometimes I wish instead of all the money that is coming into Texas that a few of our newest neighbors would bring water, but that is a problem that fixes itself if our revenue remains so strong. We are all better off when businesses choose to close voluntarily instead of having their hand forced into it.
Texas Retailer Now Closing 157 Stores On The Same Day
According to this article in Parade, Target plans to close all 157 of their Texas stores on the same day, April 20th. In fact, they are not the only business that will be closed for Easter Sunday.

Personally, I wish way more businesses were closed every Sunday because working in retail is incredibly challenging for family and social gatherings. It is not easy to have your days off on like Tuesday and Wednesday when the majority of your network is off work every Sunday.

As a father of three, the moment my wife and I look forward to most is enjoying an after church meal on Sunday, and it really is too bad that so many only get to experience that during holidays.
