
Texas City Lands On The List Of America’s Most Sleep-Deprived
Sleep is important for everyone in the state of Texas. We all need to rest, it's just a fact of life. But for one city in the Lone Star State, sleeping is tougher than one would expect.
Why Is Sleep So Important For Texans?
Per the CDC, the amount of sleep a resident in Texas needs depends on mainly age. Younger Texans almost 10 hours of sleep a day, while adults need between 7-8 hours. The benefits of getting enough sleep also helps one stay healthy too.

But, sometimes, getting enough sleep is a tough ask. Sometimes one can't fall asleep, or there's just one thing that's keeping us awake, whether it be stress or having to work late on something. We've all had those days when just can't fall asleep right?

One city in Texas is certainly having a tough time falling asleep, but where is it?
The One City In Texas That Is Having Trouble Going To Sleep
In data collected by Mood, they were able to determine which cities in the US are having issues going to bed. The three main factors used to figure out the list, were the following:
- Anxiety levels
- Light pollution
- Noise pollution
Landing at 94th on the list was none other than Irving, Texas. Anxiety level was at 1.79 out of six, light pollution was 49.0, and noise pollution was 52.6. Overall, out of 100, Irving had a 26.4 score.
So to say the least, the city of Irving needs to do some things to make going to bed a little bit easier for everyone to go to bed!
