Famous Restaurant Now Bankrupt And Closing In Texas
Austin, Texas is now the former home of a very popular restaurant chain that joins the ranks of so many others that are declaring bankruptcy and shuttering permanently their eateries. In some states, their entire roster of restaurants are already closed or soon will be.

The good news is not all of the Texas locations will be closing as of now, but sometimes just because you were not given bad news first, does not mean that the hammer still will not fall hard eventually. Kind of like what happened with Big Lots originally estimating 30 some stores would be closing, and then later declared that the number is more like 300.
According to this KXAN article, Buca di Beppo shut down 13 locations without notice right before filing bankruptcy earlier this week. The company is headquartered in Orlando, Florida, but filed for Chapter 11 in Dallas, and has said they plan to keep their 3 Dallas area restaurants open, plus their location in The Woodlands.

I have never eaten at a Buca di Beppo, but as someone who has frequented many Italian style restaurants, it sure looks like I have missed out on a whole lot of flair, but maybe not too much flavor.
Stores going out of business is just part of business, but I really wish they were better at announcing upcoming closures, so that we can all give these neighborhood staples the send off they deserve.
