Family Friendly Fun Events Happening In Odessa This Week

People always say there is nothing for families to do around here, that's not true! You just have to look for them. Discover Odessa is helping us keep you up to date on things happening around the city with different organizations, there is something for everyone.

Thursday, April 4th

The Ector County Library is hosting Read To Felix from 4 pm - 5 pm. You are invited to stop by the Ector County Library and read to Felix the therapy dog. This will take place on the 3rd floor of the library.

Giggles and Give Comedy Fundraiser for the Odessa Family YMCA will be from 6 pm- to 10 pm at the Ector Theater and will feature comedian Lucas Bohn. Tickets are $25.

Friday, April 5th

First Friday! The first Friday of every month the Odessa Arts Council hosts an event that involves many businesses surrounding downtown. This event is free to participate in. Stroll downtown Odessa to all of the different shops and vendors.

Boss Mom's Market will be held at the Ector County Coliseum in Barn G. This event will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Saturday, April 6th

Color Fun Run at Odessa's YMCA Park! Students In Philanthropy at Odessa College invite you to join them Saturday morning at Odessa's YMCA Park. Check-in begins at 9 am and the run starts at 10. Participants will complete 5 laps around the park and with every lap completed they will be doused with a new color of chalk. Pre-registration is $10 and $15 the day of the event.

Boss Mom's Market will be held at the Ector County Coliseum. This event will be both Saturday and Sunday. This is a great event for shopping and supporting small businesses.
