See The100 Human Teeth Found Buried In A Texas Homeowners Yard

A Toothsome Discovery
There was an interesting find in a residential yard in Hondo, Texas earlier this month. Hondo police responded to a call of human teeth being discovered.
On March 4, 2025, Hondo's Criminal Investigation Division (CID) arrived at the yard. They did some literal digging and found over 100 human teeth. To check to see if they were real, CID consulted with a dentist.
Well, the dentist confirmed they were in fact human teeth!
How Did The Teeth Get There?
It turns out that the teeth were extracted from living patients long ago. I know what you're thinking, but there is a good explanation.
Through investigation, CID found that the last homeowners were local dentists. They had a practice in Hondo about 50 to 70 years ago. Family members said it was a dental superstition to bury teeth for good luck when you sell a home.
Hondo's CID said that this case was unusual but no foul play is suspected.
Imagine one of the officers going home to tell their significant other how their day went. Makes for a great story!
