Jason Isbell May Have A New Album On The Way

Jason Isbell has posted a new video on social media. Hard to say just what it is...possibly a tease for a new album.

Isbell’s Southeastern Records posted a new black and white clip on their social media pages on Tuesday, Feb. 7th. The label also changed its Twitter description to “Stay Tuned…” with a link to sign up to Isbell’s mailing list.

The video lasts about thirty seconds. There is music with Isbell and his band making short appearances, and the setting seems to be like they are preparing new tunes.

Jason is staying very busy these days. He has been touring and performing sold out shows in Mexico and the United States.

To date, Isbell has recorded five solo records since 2007. His most recent album, 2015’s 'Something More Than Free' has been a very successful project for him!

The record topped the country, folk and Americana charts. He won Album of the Year and Song of the Year '24 Frames' at the Americana Music Honors & Awards in 2016. Isbell also won two Grammys for Best Americana Album and Best American Roots Song '24 Frames'. He is on fire!
