Longtime Casey Donahew Bassist Steve Stone’s Final Show is Saturday

It's always a little strange when a member of one of your favorite bands decides to hang it up. You know in your heart that the show will go on, you just have to wrap your head around it being a a little different one.

Today in a touching post, Casey Donahew announced that his longtime friend and bassist Steve Stone will "retire from the road."

16 years, a million miles, thousands of shows together and one hell of a friendship, Cowboy Steve stood beside me as we traveled the highways, saw the world and made music. Steve has decided it’s time for him to set down the bass and retire from the road. I couldn’t be happier for him. Join us this Saturday at Billy Bob's Texas as we say goodbye to the one & only Mr. Cowboy Steve Stone

His final show will be this Saturday (Jan. 25) at Billy Bob's.
