The 32nd Larry Joe Taylor Texas Music Festival was had last week, and I had the pleasure of being in attendance for all the music and fun.

This was my 9th appearance at LJT. We couldn’t have a festival last year because of the pandemic, but we all made up for lost time all week long. Here's a little wrap up of how the week went.

We arrived on Monday afternoon. After getting the RV parked, we set up camp between the two main stages and were ready to go!

On Tuesday, we checked out the calm before the storm as things were quiet before all the concerts on the LJT stages.

People started flowing into their campsites as Tuesday rolled on and we ran into some good people getting ready for a week of good times and good music.

The music on the main stage started on Tuesday and we happened to run into Johnny Cooper. He's playing with Prophets and Outlaws nowadays. It was good to catch up with him.

We went around and found more people having a good time as we went from campsite to campsite. Everyone was ready for the first night of music on the main stage.

The sun went down and the first night of music kicked off on the big stage. We saw some Kevin Fowler and Casey Donahew to close out the night.

Somehow, we survived Tuesday night and made it to Wednesday. Courtney Patton got things started that afternoon for the first day of music on the 2nd stage at LJT.

Later that day, we saw Jack Ingram. It had been a few years since Jack had played at LJT, so it was good to catch up with him.

Nightfall at LJT on hump night featured some great music on the main stage and we happened to run into William Clark Green before his concert.

William Clark Green did not disappoint, and he happened to bring a couple of friends with him onstage. Will's fellow Panhandler bandmates Josh Abbott and Cleto Cordero came on stage and joined the fun.

It was Thursday morning and we made it over the hump!

We made some more rounds around LJT campsites and found more good times being had by all!

Bri Bagwell happened to show up on Thursday afternoon and I just couldn't pass up a selfie with her. Oh, and those are not her nails on my shoulder. That's her dog if you didn't know. ;)

More hobnobbing on Thursday. We found Larry Joe, Josh Abbott and Cody Canada. And we stopped by the bar to listen to some Kickin' Country 103.1!

We made it to Friday and look who we found! Koe Wetzel was hanging out and we managed to snap a pic.

Friday is always a good day at LJT. Gary P. Nunn was there, and we had some pickers show up at our camp after Koe Wetzel finished up on the main stage.

Saturday and we made it! The Randy Rogers Band closed things down on Saturday night.

Oh, what a week it was. Cannot believed we survived! LJT was pushed back this year because of the pandemic but is scheduled to be back in April next year and we can't wait.

So, were you at LJT? Send us your pics! We would love to see them! Send them to us on Facebook or use our station app.
