Some country stars remain mum about their political views, preferring instead to keep their music at the forefront of fans' minds. Kid RockLoretta Lynn and Merle Haggard, however, are not those country stars; all three have recently spoken out about one specific candidate: Donald Trump.

Rock, who has never been shy about politics and has been known to make some fiery statements, says he's "digging Trump." The artist tells Rolling Stone that he finds the entrepreneur's presidential campaign "entertaining as s--t" and believes that Trump will get the Republican nomination.

"Has that much f--king changed when anyone's in office, whether it's been a Republican or a Democrat in office, in our lifetime, anyway?" Rock muses, adding with a laugh, "I haven't really seen this big, like, f--king change. Obviously some people f--ked up."

Rock admits that he's no political science expert, but in his opinion, the United States needs a breath of fresh air and a president who will do something other than the norm.

"My feeling," Rock explains: "Let the motherf--king business guy run it like a f--king business."

Lynn, too, stands in support of Trump.

"Trump has sold me -- what more can I say?” Lynn tells Reuters, calling him "... the only one who's going to turn this country around."

The country icon publicly supported Trump at the end of each of her shows and declared her support at an awards dinner in December -- and she says that her fans have been supportive as well.

"When you get up there and try to say you want to see Hillary Clinton win," Lynn explains, "that wouldn’t go over so big."

However, she does not plan on reaching out to Trump herself; rather, Lynn says slyly, "I’m going to let him call me.”

But as passionate as Rock and Lynn are in their support of Trump, 78-year-old Haggard is not in his favor -- and the country legend has his reasons.

"He's not a politician. I don't think he understands the way things work in Washington, that's what worries me about him. I don't think he realizes he can't just tell somebody to do something and have it done, you know," Haggard tells Rolling Stone Country. "I think he's dealing from a strange deck."
