More and More Texas Country Artist Support Hurricane Harvey Victims
The Josh Abbott Band, Eli Young Band, Pat Green, Hayes Carll, Kacey Musgraves and more Texas Country Artist are raising money for Hurricane Harvey victims...
Kacey is donating proceeds from her Texas Rope T-shirt to Harvey victims, and proceeds from sales of Green’s “Texas on My Mind” tee are going to relief efforts as well.
The Eli Young Band is selling a T-shirt on their website that reads “Texas Bands Together” on the front and “Harvey Will Not Defeat Us” on the back. One-hundred percent of the money raised from sales of the shirt will go to the Greater Houston Community Foundation.
Texan Hayes Carll is donating net proceeds from his show at New York City's Bowery Ballroom in mid September to MusiCares, helping musicians affected by the disaster. In a press release, Carll said...“Watching the resilience and strength of the people in my home state of Texas has been inspiring, as has watching the country come together to help those who have been so devastatingly affected by Hurricane Harvey. I know first hand what it is like to experience loss during a natural disaster and how far any bit of help goes.”
Other Texas artist who have been using merch sales and proceeds from concerts in recent days to help the relief efforts include Granger Smith, the Josh Abbott Band, and Koe Wetzel, among others!
These are just a few of our Texas Country Artist who are putting forth the effort to encourage their fans to support Hurricane Harvey Relief efforts.
