No, they aren't related but they will be competing for the winning title on the Showdown this week.  Take a gander at the new tunes from Jason Helms and Steve Helms.

This week we've got two fellows that I call my amigos in the New Music Showdown.  In one corner new friend and fellow Arkansas native, Jason Helms.  In the other long time friend from the Fort Worth area, Steve Helms.  You've heard both on Kickin' Country before and they've both brought us new music at the same time so why not make this week Helms Vs Helms?  Last week I received new singles from both guys so let's dig in.  Jason has released his third single, She's My Kind Of Woman, that's a bit slower tempo compared to the last ones.  It's a great little love song about being with the perfect young lady, country with country curves.  Dig it.  Hard Earned Money, is actually Steve Helms' tenth radio single and surely not his last.  It's about exactly what the title says.  Hard working, blue collar people that bust their but to stay afloat in this economy and doing it good.  In my opinion it's a little more rockin' than Steve normally is.  I like it.  Take a listen and cast your vote now.  Enjoy!
