New Music This Week On Kickin’ Country

This week we bring you four new songs that I know you'll love.  One new group and three Concho Valley favorites, take a gander and let me know what you think.

Let's start off with the new band in the mix, Cody Bryan Band.  The Cody Bryan Band sent me a track about two weeks ago titled If I'm Going Nowhere which was featured on the New Music Showdown.  While John D. Hale Band took that win you have still been requesting this song like crazy.  The album, Wreck Me, dropped yesterday and I highly suggest you take a listen to everything this Austin based band has to offer.  It's a great song by a great group of musicians.  Enjoy!

Cody Bryan Band - If I'm Going Nowhere

Next up to bat is my boy Philthy with his new tune Back Of A '73.  Phil Hamilton is one of those artist that everybody loves and nobody can say a cross thing about.  Phil's a great songwriter, musician and person which makes for some great music.  The new song is great for summer and will take you back a couple years.  If you haven't picked up the latest album, Renegade Rock N Roll, you need to get with the program.  Your ears will thank you!

Phil Hamilton - Back Of A '73

Another group or North Texans sent me their new song In The Summer.  The Thieving Birds have new album set to come out July 2nd titled Gold Coast.  In The Summer is the fourth radio release and will be on their second album since forming back in 2010.  These guys are very talented and eclectic making for great music.  I've actually given the album a listen already and know you're going to love the new tunes.  In The Summer is going to be a chart topper and summer anthem.  Take a listen and let me know what you think.

Thieving Birds - In The Summer

Last but certainly not least we have the Joey Green Band with Jaded Hearts.  The new album, Lo 5, was released a week ago and absolutely blew me away.  Joey has always had a very unique style and the band backing him up is second to none.  I got to catch the CD release party last Friday at Boondocks and the live performance was superb.  Bottom line, go pick up this album.  It's been in my CD player since Friday and I have a feeling it'll be in there for a while.  Don't miss out on this gem.
