The Gruene Historical District is looking for dancers to fill Gruene Hall for the filming of a PBS show on April 6th.

KVUE.com reports that PBS will film Samantha Brown’s 'Places to Love' and Gruene Hall is one of those places for sure.

The Gypsy Jazz/Western Swing Band Hot Club of Cowtown will be playing live while the filming is done from 6-10 pm. Admission is free. Just show up and be ready to swing dance.

Samantha is a well respected television personality who has hosted several shows on the Travel Channel. She doesn't just cover the attraction, but also the region’s people and culture.

Gruene Hall is the state’s oldest operating dance hall. It was built in 1878 and to this day offers top artist and bands on a regular basis.

The date for this particular PBS show to air has yet to be released.

Put on your dancing boots and head for the hill country. Sounds like a fun time!!
