If you are a fan of Texas Country music, then you know the name Ray Wylie Hubbard. He did nothing but make fans of this genre proud by rocking the stage of The Late Show with David Letterman.

Ray Wylie Hubbard is a well known name, and at the sweet age of 66 he got invited to go on The Late Show with David Letterman. Let me tell you, he rocked the house. That video is of him singing "Mother Blues" and him and his band showed America what Texas is all about. He is such a talented artist and I'm so happy that he got invited on the show. Ray Wylie is known for his songs such as "Snake Farm," "Dust of the Chase," "Conversation With The Devil," among many other huge hits. The coolest thing I saw later was that David specifically requested Ray Wylie Hubbard to play what has come to get the nickname of, the Texas National Anthem "Screw You, We're From Texas" after the show. If you want to go check out that recording of " you can click here. I really hope that there are more of our artists that get national time like Mr. Ray Wylie Hubbard did. I'm one very proud Texan, as I'm sure there are many other proud Texans too. You did an awesome job man, serious kudos to you.
