Red Cross Champions Program Raises Funds For Local Red Cross Response
As you may know San Angelo has its own local chapter of the American Red Cross, but what you may not know is that they are not funded by United Way or the government.
The West Central Texas Chapter has to raise their own funds in order to respond to disasters and families in need that are affect by disasters or home fires here in the Concho Valley.
So in order to meet their needs they have charged some local folks to become American Red Cross Champions. I am honored to say that I am a Red Cross Champion charged with the task to raise $1000.00 in the month of April. The funds raised will go to help the American Red Cross West Texas Chapter cover the cost of helping those with disasters and families in need right here in the Concho Valley.
With the $1000 dollars we can do these amazing things right here in the Concho Valley:

- Provide mobile feeding for 100 people when a disaster strikes
