Most of us probably haven't even thought much about the holiday season yet, but I know someone who has been planning for some time and I visited with Suzanne McGee on the 'Kickin' Wake-Up Call' this morning.

Suzanne has been overseeing the Lights Of Christmas Parade since it began 15 years ago.

She said that now is the time to get your entry registration in for the parade so that you can start thinking about what your entry will be. Basically the main rule is that you must have a lighted entry. There is no fee and it will be viewed by many in our community who will certainly be ready for some Holiday Fun.

Suzanne talked about how much the parade has grown over the years and how it is tied in with the Lighting of the Christmas Tree, and the Christmas Tour of Lights along the Concho River. All three kick off on the same day, December 5th.

I love the Christmas and Holiday season, so I found it very refreshing to talk about the festivities that will be coming in just a few short months.
