Remember That Time Randy Rogers Sang ‘She’s Like Texas’ Dressed as a Giraffe?

This is why you don't gamble boys and girls. This week marks the 8-year-anniversary of that one time Randy Rogers ended up singing a Josh Abbott song on stage because of a football bet.

The two Texas stars wagered on the Texas State / Texas Tech football game -- but there wasn't any money on the line. No, they wagered their pride and self-respect. Remember this video?

I don't know what the spread was on the game back in 2012, but it's safe to say that the chances of Abbott's Texas Tech losing to Roger's Texas State were slim. So when Texas State failed to cover it, Randy Rogers wound up singing the Josh Abbott hit "She's Like Texas" -- in a giraffe costume -- on stage -- in front of a BUNCH of people.
