San Angelo Celebrates Food,Music and, Above All, Beer

This weekend (Saturday September 17th) is the 2nd Annual Plateauberfest from 12:00pm through 6:00pm at 214 South Chadbourne in San Angelo, TX! It is a similar time like Germany’s Oktoberfest where people come in and have a great time with friends, family, and beer. The craft beer is from Plateau Brewing Company and there is so much to enjoy. Come to downtown San Angelo this Saturday for live music, delicious barbeque from Southern Smoke BBQ, and of course…BEER!

There is more than just beer at the event. This is a family friendly event so there are things for both parents and children. The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts is hosting fun activities for the children and other fun games like a competition for stein hoisting. Plateauberfest is also a charity event in which they are teaming up with the Concho Valley Food Bank and collecting shelf-stable goods from patrons as they walk in the door. This is to prepare for the upcoming holiday season and so they are starting to collect now. A portion of the beer proceeds will also go to the Concho Valley Food Bank.

So, come on out this Saturday September 17th to 214 South Chadbourne in downtown San Angelo for the 2nd Annual Plateauberfest from noon to six o’clock in the evening. Try out some delicious barbeque, beer from Plateau Brewing Company, fun activities, Beer, family fun, more beer, and support a cause to provide food to those in need.
