San Angelo embraced water conservation in 2013!
Last year, 4.609 billion gallons of water was used compared to 5.179 billion in 2012. That's a difference of 570 million gallons.
Or, put another way, San Angelo used 14,145 acre-feet of water last year compared to 15,894 the prior year. That's a difference of 1,749 acre-feet. Each acre-foot equals 325,851 gallons.
