The Cultural Affairs Council presents 'A Night At The Speakeasy' Saturday, Sept 7th from 7-9 pm at the Cactus Hotel. Step back to the Roaring Twenties for an evening in the Cactus Speakeasy, featuring gourmet selections from Chef Tim Condon and Chef Earl Mulley, along with wine, beer, and signature cocktails. Local musicians will provide the evening’s entertainment and proceeds benefit the arts in San Angelo and the Concho Valley. The 17th Annual Winters Dove Fest is this Saturday, September 7th. Hunters and visitors are welcome! There will be a full line-up of events scheduled, including live music, the Camo Run, gun raffles, a silent and a live auction, the Clay Shoot, and a fun barbecue lunch in the park. The Concho Valley Farmers Market’s thrice-weekly produce sales begin at 7 am each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday under the pavilion at 609 S. Oakes St. across from Fort Concho. The vendors, who come from a 75-mile radius around San Angelo, sell locally grown seasonal fruits, vegetables and plants. For more information, call 245-3338.

Enjoy an afternoon of art making at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts every Thursday from 3-6 pm in the Education Studio.
