This makes my blood BOIL. The Salvation Army has fallen victim to two separate robberies in the past few days.

Two catalytic converters were stolen from The Salvation Army’s Family Store truck while it was parked in the Village Shopping plaza.

While yesterday, an individual stole the counter kettle at Roosters. One of the many locations where people can donate money during the holiday season.

This month of course is a huge month for the Salvation Army as all gifts have to be returned by Saturday the 12th for the Christmas Tree Angels Program.

Thankfully, the community is coming together for the Salvation Army. While the Salvation Army truck is being repaired, the manager at U-Haul stepped up and is offering a vehicle for the week.

These are the times where we need to come together and support each other.

We here at Townsquare Media San Angelo wish you and yours a safe and happy holiday season.
