The Goodfellow Sprint Triathlon 2019 will be held at the Goodfellow Recreation Camp this Saturday, July 27th. This event is open to the public and consist of a 400-meter swim in Lake Nasworthy, 20-kilometer bike ride on Knickerbocker Rd. and a 5-kilometer run on S. Concho Dr. Late registration & Check-in is from 6-7:30 am, Triathlon starts at 8 to be followed by an awards ceremony. Register at Mathis Fitness Center or call 654-3242 for more information.

Murphy Performance Hall presents 'Peter Pan Jr' Fri & Sat, July 26th and 27th. This high-flying Tony Award-winning musical has been performed around the world and delighted audiences for 60 years and is now adapted for young performers. Performances are at 7:30 each evening. San Angelo State Park is having a hunter's education course Sat, July 27th from 8 am-5 pm. This course is designed for novice hunters ages 9 years and above. The course covers firearm and hunting safety, hunting ethics and wildlife conservation. All materials are provided. The fee for the certification is $15 and pre-registration is required. S P O R T L E T I X Summer Fun Fair Is a Free Community Event at Spring Creek Park Sat. July 27th from 8 am - 6 pm! There will be Sports Tournaments, Vendors, Food and Games!  Register as an Athlete and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Boys & Girls Club of San Angelo. Bring the family, tell your friends, bring your lawn chairs and  hangout! Must pay a $3 fee to enter Spring Creek Park, inside of Lake Nasworthy. Enjoy an afternoon of art making at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts every Thursday from 3-6 pm in the Education Studio. They always feature fun with clay and watercolors, and every three weeks there are two new art projects to try. Admission is free and visitors are welcome to drop in anytime between 3 and 6.

The Concho Valley Farmers Market’s thrice-weekly produce sales begin at 7 am each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday under the pavilion at 609 S. Oakes St. across from Fort Concho. Sunset Mall is offering children and their parents a free summer program for the eighth consecutive year.
