Angelo State University is bringing their homecoming parade back to campus for the first time in 11 years Sat, Oct 12th at 10 am! You're invited to take the Fort Concho After Dark Tour Thurs, Oct 10th from 8-10 pm for a spine-tingling night tour of Fort Concho. Visit several of the fort’s buildings and listen to their guides recount the stories of people who lived and died at the site. Tickets for the walking tour are available but space is limited. Golfers 18 and older are welcome to be a part of the Ozona Country Club Michael Hill Memorial Four Person Golf Tournament Saturday & Sunday, October 12th &13th. Buffalo Gap is having their Scarecrow Festival opening event Saturday, October 12th from 1-5 pm. You'll see Scarecrows inspired by children's illustrated storybook characters and created by local students on the grounds of the Taylor County History Center throughout October! This event is free and open to the public and will include a variety of family friendly fall activities, games, and more. You can view the Scarecrows   until Saturday, October 26.

The Cultural Affairs Council presents 'Uncorked' Thurs, Oct 10th from 6:30-10:00 pm at San Angelo's Museum of Fine Arts. The event features gourmet cuisine from numerous San Angelo Restaurants plus the band West Texas Funk will play on the rooftop from 8:00-10:00 pm. The 32nd Trinity Lutheran School Golf Tournament is Sat, Oct 12th from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. the Tournament provides scholarship funds to help assist families in the community with financial assistance to provide a Christian education for their children. There will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place plus multiple drawings for prizes and

The VFW Sip n Shop fundraiser is held every second Saturday from 10 to 3 at the VFW Hall at 125 S. Browning St. Come out Sat, Oct 12th and shop with a variety of vendors featuring handmade and resale items. Pick up a snack or meal and support your local VFW. Enjoy an afternoon of art making at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts every Thursday from 3-6 pm in the Education Studio. They always feature fun with clay and watercolors, and every three weeks there are two new art projects to try. Admission is free and visitors are welcome to drop in anytime between 3 and 6.

The Concho Valley Farmers Market’s thrice-weekly produce sales begin at 7 am each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday under the pavilion at 609 S. Oakes St. across from Fort Concho.
