San Angelo’s ISD Is Hiring Bus Drivers

Joining the transportation team with the SAISD is a great opportunity to make a difference in our community and they’re hiring now.

Check this out! New bus drivers can even start out with a one-time, new employee hiring incentive of $500.00 which is paid in two equal installments of $250.00.

On top of that, the starting salary is $14,75. Other benefits include:

Bus Drivers Requirements include:

Pre-Employment, Criminal background check by fingerprint, Acceptable driving record, and a Drug test.

Post-Employment requires the following:

Class B CDL Testing Process

4 written tests - general knowledge, air brakes, passenger, school bus

Complete a pre-trip walk, skills test, and driving test

Certification

20-hour state certification

First aid/CPR
