The monthly Downtown Stroll is this Thursday, May 16th from 6-9 pm in historic Downtown San Angelo. Visit many businesses which stay open late for this special event. The Concho Valley Farmers Market’s thrice-weekly produce sales begin at 7 am each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday under the pavilion at 609 S. Oakes St. across from Fort Concho. The vendors, who come from a 75-mile radius around San Angelo, sell locally grown seasonal fruits, vegetables and plants. For more information, call 245-3338.

St. Margaret of Scotland Church is having their annual festival this Sunday, May 19th at the KC Hall, 3636 North Bryant. Brisket plates with all the trimmings will be served from 11:00 until 2:00. The live auction starts at 1:00. There will be kids’ games, bingo, arts and crafts and car raffle tickets. The 11th annual 'Simply Texas Blues Festival 2019' is this Saturday, May 18th downtown San Angelo from noon til 11 pm. If you love the blues, this is your kind of party all held outdoors on the streets of downtown San Angelo with numerous blues bands to entertain you. While you're there, be sure to check out the 'Simply Texas Rib Cookoff from 8 am - 4 pm.

West Texas Boys Ranch is having their 14th annual Clay Shoot this Saturday, May 18th from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm at the San Angelo Clay Bird Association. Check in begins at 8:30 am, shooting at 9:30. Cactus Market Days takes place on the third Saturday of every month. Dozens of Arts and Craft plus Food Vendors will be set up in the parking lot at 13 East Twohig across from the Cactus Hotel this Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm.
