Kickin' Country 103-1 invites you to join us every week for 'Thirsty Thursday' from 6-8 pm at Nacho's Restaurant, Cantina & Grill at Knickerbocker & the Loop inside the Roadway Inn. Enjoy great drink specials including $1 margaritas, $2 domestic pints, plus more drink specials to be announced throughout the party. This week, we'll give away great prizes like Catoico concert tickets, Nacho's food, CDs and more. There is also a DJ playing your favorite music during the party!

Join Kickin' Country 103-1 as we broadcast live this Saturday morning, Nov 10th for the 4th annual Living Prayer Chain starting at 10 am on Historic Concho Street downtown. Everyone is ask to come, hold hands and circle the block as we pray for our Veterans, our Military, and America. Donations are appreciated and T-Shirts will be available for $15 with 100% of proceeds going to support Sonrisas Trails Veteran's Riding Program. The Veteran's parade will follow at 11 am.

Toys For Tots is having a 12 hour drive this Sat, Nov 10th from 7am-7pm. Marines will be at both San Angelo H.E.B. locations as well as Wal-Mart and Best Buy accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls. Monetary donations are appreciated as well.

The Frank Caraway Sporting Clays Classic, benefiting the West Texas Rehabilitation Center, will begin at 9 a.m. this Sat, Nov.10th at the San Angelo Claybird Association. A Benefit Team Roping for Miles Ramirez will be held this Saturday & Sunday, Nov. 10th & 11th at the 1st Community Credit Union Spur Arena. Miles is a 1-year-old boy diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of soft-tissue cancer. The roping begins at 9 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday. Barbecue plates will be sold and there will be a live auction plus T-shirt sales. For more information, call 653-7785.

Fort Chadbourne will host "Appreciate Our Veterans" Day this Sunday, November 11th at the Fort Chadbourne Pavilion on Highway 277, 12 miles N. Bronte. WWII Medal of Honor Recipient Hershel Woody Williams will be the guest of honor for the afternoon. Free lunch will be furnished for Veterans and their families along with Active Military from noon to 1:45, followed by a program featuring Mr. Williams at 2:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend the program at no charge.
