The 19th annual 'Shamrock Shuffle' will be this Saturday, May 14th at the Wells Fargo Pavilion. Tickets are $100 per couple and you'll enjoy a delicious steak dinner, live & silent auctions, a Grand Prize Drawing for $5,000.00, and music from Pat Waters & The Chainlink Band. The Simply Texas Blues Festival is this Saturday, May 14th  beginning at 10 am on Oakes Street in front of Flamingo Flatts. Enjoy lots of blues Bands in competition, the blessing of the bikes, food & craft vendors, plus a lot more. This is a family oriented event. Bring your lawn chairs and join in the fun! This Saturday, May 14th is the opening of the Concho Valley Farmers Market
Located at 609 S. Oakes Street. Shop for locally grown fresh produce offered for sale beginning this Saturday and continuing thereafter on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 7:00 am - 12:00 Noon. The Farmers Market will run until the first freeze in the fall.

This Saturday, May 14th the Flapjack Funraiser for our soldiers and their families will be at Applebee's from 8-10 am. For $10 per person, you can enjoy pancakes, sausage, and the drink of your choice. Donations of more than $10 will gladly be accepted, and tickets are available at the door.

Tom Green County Friends of the Library 2016 Annual Book Sale is this weekend at the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Drive. This is the main fundraiser for this  nonprofit organization. Prices for books and other media are 25¢ to $1.50 and special books pricing will vary.
Hours are: Friday, May 13, Preview Night, 5–9 p.m. ($10 annual membership fee to enter)
Saturday, May 14, 2016 – Open to the public, 9 a.m.–6 p.m.
Sunday, May 15, 2016 – Half Price Day, 1–5 p.m.
Monday, May 16, 2016 – Donation Day, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.

Every Thursday you and your family are invited to enjoy an afternoon of art making in the San Angelo Museum of Fine Art Education Studio! They always feature clay and watercolor, and every three weeks there are two new art projects to try. Visitors are welcome to drop in anytime between 3 and 6 p.m. Please allow at least 30 minutes to try all projects.

The Twin Mountain Tonesmen's 37th Annual Spring Show is this Saturday, May 14th at the Central High School Sarah Bernhardt Theatre beginning at 7:29 pm. Featured performers include the award winning 'Twin Mountain Tonesmen', 'Texas Pride', and International Champion Quartet 'Storm Front'.
