Improv at Be Theatre invites you to come and celebrate San Angelo gives this Tuesday, May 7th from 6-9 pm and support all of your favorite non-profit organizations. improv players will privide hilarious comedy with improv games, musical improv & lip sync battles. Its a free event and there will be complimentary wine and beer for guest over 21 plus free concessions. All of this is taking place at the San Angelo Pac Center. The Grape Creek PTO Color Run 2019 is this Sat, May 11th at Camp Williams, across from the San Angelo State School in Carlsbad, Tx. The 2 or 3 mile fun run or walk benefits the students of Grape Creek Elementary and Middle School. Gates open at 9:30 and race begins at 10 am.
Murphey Performance Hall presents 'The Newsies' this Fri-Sun, May 10th-12th. Inspired by the true story of the 1899 Newsboys Strike, 'Newsies' is a joyful, and entertaining musical capturing the strength that young people have when they join together and stand up against injustice. Family Day at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts is this Sat, May 11th from 10 am - 3 pm. Enjoy Free admission and hands-on art activities for the entire family. A different theme with related activities is featured each 2nd Saturday of the month. This Saturday's theme is 'Day of Play' with art projects and activities, museum tours, dance performances, snacks and more!
The Tom Green County Young Lawyers Association proudly host their inaugural Bike Rodeo in celebration of National Bicycle Safety Month this Sat, May 11th from 10 am - 2 pm at San Angelo Stadium. This is a free bike safety event that will focus on teaching kids how to wear their helmets properly, how to control their bike, use hand signals, and react to hazards. There will be free helmets for all participants while supplies last, and each participant will be entered to win raffle prizes!
