This week's food truck, back by popular demand, is Reyna's Tacos. Tarpley Music will provide the sound system for our music. The San Angelo Foster Parent Coalition invites everyone to a free concert with Radney Foster and Kyle Hutton this Fri, Sept 7th at First United Methodist Church at 37 E. Beauregard. Doors open at 7 pm and the concert begins at 8. This is “A Place to Stay Foster Care Awareness Event” designed to raise awareness for children in the foster care system & how to become part of the solution. The 41st annual Miles Cotton Festival is this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 7th & 8th at various venues in Miles. This Monday, Sept 10th, the Home Builders Association of San Angelo invites you to join them for their 36th Annual Golf Tournament, benefiting Operation Finally Home. Registration begins at 11:45am, followed by a putting contest and lunch. The shotgun start will be at 1:00pm.

The Concho Valley Farmers Market is open for business every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday offering fresh Fruits, vegetables and plants from 7 a.m. until they sell out (usually by noon). This Saturday, the 21st the Market is having a Melon Fest featuring cantaloupes plus red and yellow meat watermelons from 7 a.m. until noon.
