Join Kickin’ Country 103-1 for 'Working Women's Wednesday' at the Chadbourne Tavern Downtown San Angelo from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Enjoy great drink specials that include $1 margaritas, $1 wells and $2 draft pints. There will also be free food and games for numerous prizes including cash!!

The 2nd Annual Water Valley Street Dance and Festival is this Sat, Sept 21st from 4:30-11:30 pm at Harper Park in Water Valley. Enjoy live music from Clever Blue, Jake Hooker and the Outsiders, and the Judson Cole Band. There will be a cornhole and washer tournament with cash prizes. Texican BBQ will provide a food truck and drinks and desserts will be for sale. Every third Thursday of the month enjoy the Downtown Stroll from 5:00 to 9:00 pm which showcases some of the best art, food, and fun that Downtown San Angelo has to offer. Check it out this Thurs, Sept 19th and be sure to ride the trolley for free.

The tenth annual Tee Off for Ta-Tas golf tournament is Monday, Sept. 23rd at San Angelo Country Club. All proceeds from the four person scramble will benefit patient programs at the Shannon Oncology Center. Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. The player’s fee includes golf, a special player’s gift, lunch, and complimentary snacks and drinks on the course. The San Angelo VFW Fall Festival/Sip N Shop is Sat, Sept 21st from 8 am to 11 pm. Everyone is invited to come on out and share in the festivities to help our Veterans with plenty of  family fun and activities including: BBQ plates for $10, a Bake Off and Bake Sale, Pool Tournament, Washer Tournament, Vendors, a VFW Gun Raffle and a Dance from 7 til 11 pm featuring the "Old Hat Band". The 2019 LilyFest will be held from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm this Sat, Sept 21st at San Angelo's International Water Lily Garden. There will be tours, seminars, a plant sale, food and entertainment on site as well. You will see more waterlilies on display in San Angelo than at any other Botanical Garden anywhere in the USA.

Celebrate National Museum Day this Sat, Sept 21st. Sponsored by Smithsonian Magazine, this event will see thousands of museums open all day across the nation at no charge. San Angelo is fortunate to have five museums and all five will participate. Enjoy free admission on Saturday to: the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, Fort Concho National Historic Landmark, the Railway Museum of San Angelo, Miss Hattie’s Bordello Museum and San Angelo's Nature Center.

Enjoy an afternoon of art making at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts every Thursday from 3-6 pm in the Education Studio. They always feature fun with clay and watercolors, and every three weeks there are two new art projects to try. Admission is free and visitors are welcome to drop in anytime between 3 and 6.

The Greater San Angelo Colors of Autumn Craft Fair is this Sat, Sept 21st at the First Financial Pavilion from 9 am - 5 pm. Local artists and vendors will have handmade items out for display and purchase. This is a great opportunity to get those unique fall decorations for your home. Also find wonderful gifts for friends and family. Entry to the event is free and there will be hourly raffles for booth prizes. The Concho Valley Farmers Market’s thrice-weekly produce sales begin at 7 am each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday under the pavilion at 609 S. Oakes St. across from Fort Concho. The vendors, who come from a 75-mile radius around San Angelo, sell locally grown seasonal fruits, vegetables and plants. For more information, call 245-3338.
