The Chicken Farm Art Center is having their 'Second Thursday in The Yard' Oct 11th from 6:30-8:30 pm.  Local and Texas based Musicians join together with a variety of music genres: oldies, folk, country, rock, and more. Schneider Distributing is having their annual 'Breakfast for a Cure' this Friday, Oct 12th from 7-9 am at 1 South Abe to raise money for the American Cancer Society. They will be serving breakfast burritos for a donation. The burritos include sausage, bacon, potatoes, eggs, jalapenos, onions, cheese and salsa. Angelo State University is celebrating their Homecoming weekend with a downtown parade beginning at 11 am this Saturday. Everyone is encouraged to come out and show your support. ASU will play West Texas A&M-Commerce beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call 942-2729.

Prepare to be scared as San Angelo State Park takes you on a terrifying haunted hayride through the haunted wilderness of the South side of the Park. The Haunted Hayride will be open October 13th and 20th. Proceeds benefit Concho Valley PAWS and the Friends of the San Angelo State Park. For more, call 942-8096.
