The San Angelo Rodeo continues this week with lots of fun, there is a big fish fry in Rowena, a Rodeo Sweethearts dinner and show, a musical and more...

The Rowena Volunteer Fire Department's Annual Fish Fry & Raffle will be at St. Joseph Parish Hall This Sunday, Feb. 12th from 11-1. Plates are just $9.00 with to go plates available. The raffle includes a handmade quilt, custom made tailgate bench, $300.00 Academy Gift Card and more. Raffle tickets will be available the day of the event, or from any member of the fire department. The 85th San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo continues this week with more performances in the Coliseum. For more details, visit sanangelorodeo.com.

The Alon Rodeo Carnival is open daily on the Rodeo fairgrounds with daily admission of $8.00 for adults, and $5.00 for kids 11 and under. Admission is free with a rodeo ticket or a carnival super pass. You can also do some shopping with the creative arts exhibits open daily.

Rodeo Sweethearts "Ta Ta for Now", presented by the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women's Health is this Wednesday evening, February 8th at the C.J. Davidson Center at ASU. Dinner is at 6:30, there is a cash bar, and the show is at 7:30. For more information, call 486-6478.

Every Thursday is art Thursday at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Art Education Studio! They always feature clay and watercolor, and every three weeks there are two new art projects to try. Visitors are welcome to drop in anytime between 3 pm and 6 p.m. For more information, call 653-3333.

This Saturday, February 11th, the San Angelo Performing Arts Center, in the Brooks & Bates Theatre are presenting  the full-blown musical experience of Pump Boys and Dinettes at 3 and 7:30 pm.  You’ll meet the talented men and women of a down-home group who love fishin’, beer, a slice of homemade pie...and they love great music. This concert-style show about life’s simple pleasures has received rave reviews both on and off Broadway, along with a Tony Nomination for Best Musical.
