It's once again time for Cactus Market Day this Saturday, March 18th downtown in the parking lot across from the Cactus Hotel. Enjoy shopping for arts and crafts, the Glory Bound Cloggers at 10, a raffle for the Concho Valley girls Home, face painting for the kids and much more between 10 and 5. The Mayor's Community Wide Challenge Kickoff event will be held this Sunday, March 19th from 3-5 at Kirby Park. Come out for lots of fun kid's activities, health screenings, walks, and you can donate shelf-stable food to benefit the Texas Hunger Initiative. Call Betty for more information at 374-1443.

The Downtown Stroll is this Thursday from 5 - 9 PM Featuring a variety of galleries and art exhibits, restaurants, merchants, museums, library exhibits, music venues, and more. The March Lunch and Learn Class is this Friday, March 17th where you can learn the best techniques for preparing gardens & landscapes for Spring. Cost is $5.00 per person. You can also go to Family Nature Day this Saturday at the Southside Recreation Center from 10-Noon. Families can learn about bugs in the garden and much more.
