The Twin Mountain Tonesmen present their 'Faith, Freedom, & Family' show this Saturday, May 20th at the Central High School Theatre. Enjoy lots of patriotic songs and the Acoustix Quartet. The Eastside Angelo Lions will be cooking briskets to benefit their charities this Friday and Saturday, May 19th & 20th. Cost is $8.00 per pound and briskets average 4 to 8 pounds. Orders must be placed by this Wed. the 17th. Get all the details and order your brisket at eastangelolionsclub.org.

This Thursday, May 18th, take time to enjoy 'The Downtown Stroll' from 5:00 - 9:00 PM Downtown San Angelo. The Stroll Features a variety of galleries and art exhibits, restaurants, merchants, museums, library exhibits, and music venues, many of which stay open late once a month for this special event. The Simply Texas Blues Festival  is this Saturday, May 20th Downtown starting at 10 am. Head for Oakes Street & Twohig Street to hear some awesome Blues Bands, blessing of the bikes, food & craft vendors and more. Cactus Market Days gets underway this and every 3rd Saturday of the month starting at 10 AM. The outdoor market will showcase local crafters, designers and artists who will offer a variety of handmade items for sale. Vendors leasing space will be subject to a $20 fee with an additional $5 fee for an electrical hookup. The monthly arts and crafts fair runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 13 E.
