The San Angelo Blues Society is holding its 10th Annual Simply Texas Blues Festival this Saturday, May 19th on Oakes Street in downtown San Angelo. This event is free and includes an IBC sanctioned blues competition for 12 bands, together with a rib cook-off, craft and food vendors plus a car show. For more information, call 263-5272.

The Concho Valley Farmers Market is open for business every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday offering fresh Fruits, vegetables and plants from 7 a.m. until they sell out (usually by noon). San Angelo's award winning Twin Mountain Tonesmen chorus celebrates their 36th year this Saturday, May 19th at 7:30 in the Murphy Performance Hall. The title of this year's show is "Summer Vacation" and features songs like "Surfin' USA", "Under The Boardwalk", "Surfer Girl", "Happy Days", and more great summer songs.
