This Thursday, July 19th is the third Thursday of the month which means it's time once again for the 'Downtown Stroll' which takes place from 5-9 pm in historic downtown San Angelo. Many downtown businesses stay open late for this special monthly event. Visit art galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, unique boutiques and so much more. Cactus Market Days takes place on the third Saturday of every month. Come downtown this Saturday, the 21st  and enjoy dozens of Arts and Crafts booths plus Food Vendors in the parking lot at 13 East Twohig across from the Cactus Hotel.  Local crafters sell handmade candles, cosmetics, clocks, dream catchers, bird houses, jewelry, paintings, crosses, custom knives, wooden benches, pottery, horseshoe art, stained glass and many more items.The event is open from 10 AM to 5 PM. The Concho Valley Farmers Market is open for business every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday offering fresh Fruits, vegetables and plants from 7 a.m. until they sell out (usually by noon). This Saturday, the 21st the Market is having a Melon Fest featuring  cantaloupes plus red and yellow meat watermelons from 7 a.m. until noon.
