The Concho Palace Saloon is having their grand opening this weekend with live music from bret Mullins on Friday the 14th and Bobby Flores on Saturday. Everyone 21 and up is invited to check out the brand new Concho Palace Saloon as we broadcast live this weekend on Kickin' Country 103-1.

Kickin' Country 1031 invites you to join us every week for 'Thirsty Thursday' from 6-8 pm at Nacho's Restaurant, Cantina & Grill at Knickerbocker & the loop inside the Roadway Inn. The Green Apple Art Center in Eden is giving you another free show this Sunday, Sept. 16th in their 'Bier Garten' with Walt Wilkins and special guest Tommy Alverson from 2-5 pm. It's free and BYOB.

Chicken Farm Art Center is having their second Thursday Concert in the Yard this week with live music starting at 6:30 pm. Local and Texas based Musicians will be there playing oldies, folk, country, rock, and more. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the music. For more information, call 653-4936.

Do a little shopping this Saturday the 15th with Cactus Market Days from 10 am - 5 pm downtown across from the Cactus Hotel. You'll find plenty of Local Art and Craft Vendors , plus Food Vendors. The Concho Valley Farmers Market is open for business every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday offering fresh Fruits, vegetables and plants from 7 a.m. until they sell out (usually by noon). This Saturday, the 21st the Market is having a Melon Fest featuring cantaloupes plus red and yellow meat watermelons from 7 a.m. until noon. The sellers come from a 75-mile radius around San Angelo and you'll find them at The Farmers Market Pavilion located at 609 S. Oakes St. For more information, call 245-3338.
