Goodfellow Air Force Base invites everyone to come and enjoy Ruckus at the Rec Camp this Saturday, Sept 29th from 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Check out the BBQ and Chili Cookoff, BBQ Tasting, Car and Motorcycle Show plus Bri Bagwell in concert. Ruckus at the Rec Camp is an all day event at Goodfellow's Recreation Camp on Lake Nasworthy and open to the public. Entrance is free for Goodfellow ID Card Holders, $5 for the general public & 12 and under are free.
Kickin' Country 103-1 invites you to join us every week for 'Thirsty Thursday' from 6-8 pm at Nacho's Restaurant, Cantina & Grill at Knickerbocker & the loop inside the Roadway Inn. CircusSaurus, presented by Carson & Barnes Circus, will be be in town this weekend at the San Angelo Coliseum. The show will transform the circus Big Top into a time machine, bringing tyrannosauruses, woolly mammoths, Asian elephants and more together. The Concho Valley Farmers Market is open for business every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday offering fresh Fruits, vegetables and plants from 7 a.m. until they sell out (usually by noon). This Saturday, the 21st the Market is having a Melon Fest featuring cantaloupes plus red and yellow meat watermelons from 7 a.m. until noon. The sellers come from a 75-mile radius around San Angelo and you'll find them at The Farmers Market Pavilion located at 609 S. Oakes St. For more information, call 245-3338.
