Officer Zac Upton with our San Angelo Police Department dropped by for a visit this morning on the 'Kickin' Wake-Up Call' with both some good news about new cadets and bad news with credit card skimmers.

Officer Upton said the department has hired 14 new recruits out of around 75 applicants to join San Angelo's Finest.

He explained how the selection process works and what applicants have to go through to qualify.

He also said that their is a problem with credit card skimmers that can steal your personal information at certain gas pumps in town and went on to tell us which ones are affected at this point.
