Seven-Year-Old Video of Shane Smith & A Saint Covering Turnpike Troubadours ‘Diamonds & Gasoline’

Shane Smith & the Saints is one Texas' most dynamic and most must-see live bands. They received their first taste of radio success in the Texas scene with "Dance the Night Away," and "Feather in The Wind" off their 2013 album Coast.

From there they have grown into one of the scene's most respected bands. Many have even entertained the idea that Shane and the boys will be one of the bands who could help to fill the shoes of Turnpike Troubadours if their hiatus never ends. Not that those shoes could ever be truly filled, except of course by a Turnpike reunion.

Anyway, this week there was an old dimly lit video making the rounds of Shane and his fiddle player Bennett Brown covering Turnpike's "Diamonds & Gasoline." The video was uploaded in January '13.
